First of all、 we need to know two concepts: billing weight unit、 first weight and additional weight
Billing weight unit: The international express industry generally takes 0.5KG (0.5kg) as a billing weight unit.
First weight and additional weight: the first 0.5KG is the first weight for international express delivery、 and every additional 0.5KG is an additional weight. Generally、 the cost of hoisting is higher than that of continuous hoisting.
There is one price between 0.5KG and 0.5KG、 which is the first weight price. The part exceeding 0.5KG will be charged according to the additional weight price
Therefore、 the actual freight is equal to the first weight price+additional weight price
When the actual weight of the goods to be delivered is greater than the volume weight、 the freight=first weight freight+(actual weight (kg) × 2-1) × Renewal freight
When the actual weight of the delivered goods is small but the volume is large、 the freight=the first freight+(volume weight (kg) × 2-1) × Renewal freight
Note that the freight here is only the basic freight、 not the final total cost、 and there may be other additional costs.
Packaging fee: Generally、 international express companies provide free packaging、 cartons、 bubbles and other packaging materials、 but many items、 such as clothing、 can be packaged without extra fine packaging、 but some express companies will charge a certain packaging fee for valuable and fragile items. Packaging costs are generally not included in the discount calculation.
Fuel surcharge: all major international express will be updated in real time according to market conditions. Please consult customer service for specific fees.
Other uncertain expenses: such as service fees in remote areas、 sensitive freight charges for sending batteries、 powders、 liquids、 food、 brands、 etc.、 which are mainly related to the items and regions you send.
Basically、 total cost=(freight+fuel surcharge) × Discount+packaging cost+other uncertain costs
In addition、 different countries and different logistics channels have different basic charging standards、 and the cost may also be affected by many factors such as flight outage. The specific charging standards can also be subject to the real-time quotation of the express company.
1. You need to first determine whether the items you send can be sent、 whether they are ordinary goods or special sensitive goods such as electrified and liquid goods、 ordinary goods and sensitive goods can be sent、 and prohibited goods are not allowed to be sent.
2. It is better to seal the packaging、 vulnerable and leaky articles before delivery、 add foam bags and other appropriate protection to prevent the goods from being damaged. The price of international express is calculated according to weight and volume weight. Reasonable space arrangement and volume control can save a lot of freight.
3. If the recipient's information is not detailed or incorrect、 it will cause the express delivery to be unable to deliver the goods to the recipient accurately and timely、 or even cause the goods to be sent wrongly. Be sure to check carefully and make no mistakes. Note: The address of domestic express delivery shall be filled in Chinese、 while that of international express delivery shall be filled in English.
4. Tariff and tariff are determined based on the type of goods、 the quantity and value of goods and the customs policy of the destination country. The probability of levying tariffs on normal personal goods is very small. Generally、 the declared value of your goods does not exceed the tariff threshold of the passing national customs、 and there is no need to pay tariffs.
5. Customs clearance. If the sensitive goods or articles are too high in value and need to pay customs duties、 the freight forwarding company will send the materials required for customs clearance to the recipient. The recipient needs to provide documents and goods information in accordance with the format. After customs quarantine、 review and inspection are completed、 the recipient can release and continue to deliver after paying customs duties. If the goods themselves are defective、 they may be detained and destroyed.
Whether the pure battery products are delivered in small packages or in batches to the United States、 attention should be paid to the packaging. The outer box must be packed in a sturdy cardboard box、 and the batteries exceeding the standard also need to be packed in a knife UN box. Each battery with a large number must be well insulated and packed. The positive and negative poles of all batteries must be in the same direction and cannot be placed at will. The carton cannot be changed. If there is space left、 it needs to be filled with other bubble bags to avoid random shaking of the battery during transportation. The battery express box shall not exceed 10KG; Air freight single container is limited to 12kg - 22kg、 and extra delivery costs will be incurred if it is exceeded.
After the pure battery products are shipped to the United States、 they can be sold on the platform or distributed in overseas warehouses. The overseas warehouse can be stored for one month for free、 and the storage cost can be calculated after one month. Direct delivery from overseas warehouse、 1-3 days to the buyer. Customers can choose American overseas warehouse、 American East Sea overseas warehouse、 American West overseas warehouse and American China overseas warehouse in different regions according to the different orders of the platform stores、 which basically cover the whole territory of the United States. Please note that the overseas warehouse must have the qualification to issue pure batteries on behalf of others、 and the United States has strict requirements for lithium batteries、 dry batteries、 power packs and other products on behalf of others.
As a special sensitive item、 pure batteries must be declared truthfully in the aspect of logistics and customs clearance. If the customs finds that the declaration is not true、 the goods will be detained by the customs. All kinds of information required for the transportation of battery products must be prepared. In general、 for pure battery products、 whether it is the first transportation or the last delivery、 overseas warehouse delivery、 cross-border partners must do enough homework to successfully complete.
